About Us

Who We Are

LOT2545 is a registered 501c3 making all donations tax deductible to the fullest extent as allowed by law.

The name LOT2545 comes from Matthew 25:45.   It says, “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’” (NIV translation)   LOT is an abbreviation for least of these and 2545 is from the chapter and verse in Matthew.

Our mission is to provide true justice and compassion for the least of these in Uganda by providing opportunities to heal and pave their own way for a better future.

We hope for a Uganda where every child is loved and valued by his family in a self-sustaining household.

Lori Borger

Lori Borger met Amanda Jones in South Bend when Amanda was selling her violin to pay for a computer for LOT2545. A later encounter at the South Bend Farmer’s Market jewelry table captured Lori’s heart and led to Lori’s family sponsoring a boy.

Her husband and oldest children visited the boys in Uganda 3 years later. The boys hold a special place in all of their hearts. Formerly a physical therapist, Lori is now homeschooling the younger four of her five children and volunteers extensively at her church. She is honored to be joining the LOT2545 board.

Chrissy Paul

Chrissy Paul grew up with Amanda Jones in South Bend, Indiana and has kept in touch through all of Amanda’s adventures in Uganda. Because she has boys of her own, she has a heart for the kids on the street LOT2545 is helping in Kampala.

She lives in Medford, Oregon with her two boys Adam and Connor. She works as a medical biller.

Amanda Jones

Amanda Jones is the founder of LOT 2545. After spending 10 months in Uganda, she realized God’s calling in her life to help older boys living on the streets. As a result, Amanda returned to the US to begin the paperwork needed to establish LOT 2545.
